Pressefy Press Release Guidelines
Pressefy Press Release Guidelines
Headline and Summary
Headline Structure: Keep it concise, under 18 words. Use initial caps (e.g., "This Is A Sample Of Your Headline"). Ensure the headline is short, accurate, and represents the content effectively.
Inclusion of Issuer's Name: Make sure the issuer's entity is included in the headline.
Newsworthiness: The headline must be recent and important enough to justify an announcement.
Summary Requirements: Clearly describe the content of the press release in the summary, which should be under 45 words to avoid being trimmed by media partners.
Formatting Rules
Avoid using the first paragraph as a summary. Refrain from using exclamation marks, special characters (like ™ or ©), or symbols in both the headline and summary, as these might be omitted by media partners.
Content and Tone: Use active verbs and subjects to make the headline more engaging. Do not include questions in the headline or summary.
Press Release Content
Length: The ideal length is between 300 to 800 words.
Tone: The content should be impartial and official. Avoid casual first-person language (I, we, you, etc.).
Visuals: Attach no more than one image per release, with a maximum file size of 200KB (jpg, png, or gif).
Content Nature: Focus on legitimate news that announces something new or timely. The press release should read like an announcement rather than an advertisement.
Formatting/ Contact Information:
Use uppercase and lowercase appropriately. Ensure each paragraph is spaced with a line, and avoid using JavaScript or markup languages other than basic links.
Quotations: Include only genuine quotes, and limit anchor links to three per press release.
Spam Avoidance: Refrain from using SPAM-related words or excessive promotional elements that could trigger spam filters.
Contact Information:
Include the city of origin, date, and contact details in the provided fields. Do not place email addresses within the body of the release.
